Back in school, the fun started again; not! Once again, the students hurried off to lessons, prepared for another usual, boring, tough day, sat in complete silence. Unexpectedly, Mrs Drugh – the deputy head teacher – came into each class and shooed them off to the hall. What’s going on? The confused student followed the deputy, wondering what was going on. Are detention times being extended? Are school days lasting longer? They half-panicked as they walked through the hallways to the main room. It has to be important to be announced in the hall.

Once they arrived, they quickly noticed that the WHOLE school were seated in the enormous room. Even though they were used to the place, the pupils still gave a quick shiver whenever they noticed the cobwebs in the roof, or the scraped, faint white paint on the surprisingly smooth walls. It must be a change in the curriculum, the students assumed. As soon as the last member was seated, there was silence. Nothing but silence. White noise. For a whole minute.

Luna took this new opportunity as a chance to annoy Charlie. She decided that humour was the best way to enjoy getting on her nerves, so she began with something that Prenta would never have heard of. “So, Charlie,” she began her insult, “Do you recall reading about the apprentice’s magical gem that made him invisible when he held it right in his fist?” She sniggered as she looked at Prenta. Being the shy girl she was, Charlie simply shook her head, signalling that she had no idea what Luna was on about. “You know what happened to him? He was never seen again!” She laughed slightly too much, as she usually did at her own jokes.

Slightly offended, Prenta asked to move, and was placed beside Kit-Kat. By the end of the day, Charlie had been teased quite a bit; she had been moved all around the class, and everyone she was sat next to made some sort of ‘joke’ of her. Finally, she was seated next to Vetupita, away from the mean comments and taunts. She never had any more bother – until…
